Meet our floral designer:
Erica Woodford- Founder & CEO
Erica Woodford is the founder and CEO of Pinna Co. She expresses her passion for nature through floristry and draws inspiration from her background in biology, indigenous heritage, and motherhood.
The company’s logo of a crane holding a fern illustrates the harmony of her inspiration. In her Native American tribe, cranes symbolize leadership and direction. The fern, a pinnate leaf, represents her background in biology and motherhood. Each tiny leaflet of a fern is called a pinna, and eventually, what she named her daughter and the company after.
Wanting to show her daughter that no matter the circumstances, there is always beauty to be found in the world, an opportunity to persevere, find joy and be successful.
Erica enjoys more than just flowers. She is an avid bird watcher, a big fan of stand-up comedy, loves her two German Shepherds, and has family time by the pool.
